LE CHANGEMENT QUE NOTRE PEUPLE APPELLE DE TOUS CES VŒUX EST DÉSORMAIS POSSIBLE L'ALTERNANCE DÉMOCRATIQUE RENDU POSSIBLE PAR L'APPEL AU CORPS ÉLECTORAL POUR LE 12 OCTOBRE 2025.

Monsieur le Président Issa Tchirouma BAKARY,  

En ce moment déterminant où notre chère patrie s’apprête à écrire un nouveau chapitre de son histoire, permettez-moi de m’adresser à vous avec une profonde humilité et un respect sincère, conscient de la hauteur de votre pensée et de la profondeur de votre engagement pour le Cameroun.  

« Le véritable courage consiste à comprendre les enjeux au-delà de l’évidence, à agir pour l’intérêt supérieur de la nation, même lorsque le chemin semble ardu et les choix controversés » — cette maxime, que je vous dédie, éclaire l’essence même de ma démarche.  

Le 12 octobre 2025 s’annonce comme une date charnière, un moment où le destin du Cameroun pourrait se trouver à la croisée des chemins entre le maintien d’un statu quo incertain et la promesse d’une transition résolument pacifique et apaisée.  

Il est donc urgent, Monsieur le Président, que vous prêtiez une oreille attentive à l’appel des temps et à la vision que porte le président Bello Bouba MAÏGARI. Son projet de changement n’est pas qu’une ambition politique; c’est le fruit d’une sagesse historique et stratégique, enracinée dans la réalité singulière de notre pays.  

Vous êtes bien placé pour savoir que le feu Président Papa Ahmadou B. AHIDJO, dans sa clairvoyance, avait institué un Pouvoir exécutif bicéphale, confiant conjointement les destinées de notre État au Président SE Paul Biya et au Premier Ministre SE Bello Bouba MAÏGARI. Cette cohabitation exceptionnelle, plus qu’une simple configuration institutionnelle, est un héritage politique majeur, offrant un équilibre subtil entre forces complémentaires. Il n’était pas obligé d’agir ainsi, il aurait pu isoler le pouvoir exécutif. Mais il fit ce choix stratégique, un « don divin » en faveur d’une gouvernance partagée.  

Monsieur le Président, votre engagement à soutenir la candidature de Bello Bouba MAÏGARI s’inscrit dans cette continuité salutaire et constructive. Car il ne s’agit pas d’un recul ou d’un manque de mérite de votre part, mais d’un acte de haute responsabilité, celle de privilégier l’intérêt supérieur de la nation au-delà des aspirations individuelles.  

Victor Hugo disait avec raison:  

« L’avenir est une porte, le passé en est la clé. » 

C’est en cela qu’il faut puiser dans notre histoire pour forger l’avenir d’un Cameroun réconcilié, uni et prospère.  

À seulement 36 jours du scrutin, votre voix et votre influence sont plus précieuses que jamais. En conjuguant vos forces à celles du président Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, vous insufflez à notre peuple le souffle de l’espérance, la certitude que la paix et la dignité sont encore accessibles.  

Votre leadership, forgé dans les arènes intellectuelles et politiques, peut être ce pont impérissable entre les failles passées et les promesses à venir. Soutenir ce projet, c’est offrir à des millions de Camerounais, souvent laissés pour compte, une lumière au bout du tunnel, une raison de croire encore en l’éclat de notre nation.  

Je vous invite, Monsieur le Président, à considérer cette démarche non pas comme un simple choix politique mais comme un appel à la grandeur d’âme, à la générosité et à la clairvoyance, ces qualités qui font les véritables bâtisseurs d’Histoire.  

Ensemble, avec la force de la raison et la sagesse du cœur, vous pouvez être l’artisan d’une transition pacifique, garantissant que le Cameroun de demain soit un phare de stabilité, de justice et de progrès dans notre continent et au-delà.

THE CHANGE OUR PEOPLE HAVE LONG YEARNED FOR IS NOW POSSIBLE — DEMOCRATIC ALTERNATION ENABLED BY THE ELECTORATE’S CALL ON OCTOBER 12, 2025.

Mr. President Issa Tchirouma BAKARY,  

At this decisive moment when our beloved homeland stands on the cusp of writing a new chapter in its history, allow me to address you with deep humility and sincere respect, mindful of the height of your intellect and the depth of your commitment to Cameroon.  

“True courage consists in understanding the stakes beyond the obvious, in acting for the higher interest of the nation, even when the path is difficult and choices controversial”—this maxim, which I dedicate to you, illuminates the very essence of my démarche.  

October 12, 2025, presents itself as a pivotal date, a moment when Cameroon’s fate may stand at a crossroads between maintaining an uncertain status quo and the promise of a resolutely peaceful and calm transition.  

It is therefore urgent, Mr. President, that you listen attentively to the call of the times and to the vision carried by President Bello Bouba MAÏGARI. His project for change is not mere political ambition; it is the fruit of historical and strategic wisdom rooted in the unique reality of our country.  

You know well that the late President Papa Ahmadou B. AHIDJO, in his foresight, established a bicameral executive power, jointly entrusting the destiny of our State to President SE Paul Biya and Prime Minister SE Bello Bouba MAÏGARI. This exceptional cohabitation, more than a simple institutional framework, is a major political legacy, offering a subtle balance between complementary forces. He was not obliged to act thus; he could have isolated executive power. But he made this strategic choice, a “divine gift” for shared governance.  

Mr. President, your commitment to support Bello Bouba MAÏGARI’s candidacy fits within this salutary and constructive continuity. For it is not a setback or a lack of merit on your part, but a high responsibility: to prioritize the nation’s greater good beyond individual aspirations.

POURQUOI JE VOTERAIS LE CANDIDAT, PRÉSIDENT BELLO BOUBA MAÏGARI (?)

Pour que la famille soit le socle vital du Cameroun, l’État en miniature.  

Chaque citoyen, chaque futur bâtisseur de notre nation, naît dans une famille. C’est le creuset où s’élaborent les premières valeurs, le respect des règles, la discipline, la solidarité et la responsabilité. Sans cette base solide, aucun État ne peut prospérer ni garantir la paix sociale.  

Comme le disait Ferdinand Buisson:

« La famille est l’État en miniature, où s’apprennent les leçons les plus fondamentales de la vie sociale ».

Cette vérité éclaire notre devoir envers chaque foyer camerounais.  

Pourtant, nous savons que toutes les familles ne sont pas unies, disciplinées ou attentives à ces fondamentaux. Certains parents, par peur ou ambition mal placée, poussent leurs enfants à obtenir de faux diplômes, compromettant leur avenir, mettant en péril la famille et, in fine, la nation tout entière. Un père qui avoue: 

« J’ai payé pour que mon fils ait son diplôme, je pensais bien faire, aujourd’hui je vois qu’il est perdu » illustre tristement cette dérive qui coûte cher au Cameroun.  

D’autres ignorent les signaux de la puberté et ses conséquences, comme les grossesses précoces qui brisent des vies et freinent le développement d’une jeunesse pleine de promesses. Une mère témoigne: 

« Ma fille est tombée enceinte à 14 ans, toute la famille en souffre, personne ne sait comment l’aider ».

Ces réalités fragilisent la cellule familiale et affaiblissent l’État.  

Il est indispensable de comprendre que la prise en charge effective de la famille, notamment dans les ménages indigents, n’est pas qu’un acte de solidarité: c’est un investissement pour l’État. Chaque enfant soutenu, éduqué et responsabilisé deviendra demain une tête bienfaite, une pierre angulaire pour notre économie, une pépinière de l’impôt et de la paix sociale.  

L’État doit revoir sa politique familiale et économique, appuyer les familles fragiles, bâtir des programmes de formation, de sensibilisation et d’accompagnement pour lutter contre les faux diplômes et les grossesses précoces, promouvoir l’éducation civique et morale.  

Notre nation ne peut plus continuer à former des jeunes pour les voir partir enrichir d’autres pays. Imaginez un instant si les Européens ou les Américains formaient leurs enfants pour qu’ils viennent payer leurs impôts en Afrique… Ce serait un miracle, mais aujourd’hui, c’est la fuite des cerveaux qui ruine nos espoirs. Ce fléau est aussi lié à notre monnaie et à notre manière de piloter notre économie.  

Comme le rappelait Nelson Mandela: « L’éducation est l’arme la plus puissante pour changer le monde ». Si nous voulons changer le Cameroun, il faut commencer par changer la façon dont nous élevons et accompagnons nos enfants dans nos familles.  

La famille est le premier lieu d’apprentissage social, culturel, économique et politique. La réussite de notre pays dépend de la capacité de chaque famille à jouer son rôle d’éducateur, de protecteur et de modèle. C’est pourquoi nous devons la soutenir avec la même énergie que celle déployée pour construire des infrastructures: l’avenir du Cameroun se forge dans la stabilité et la cohésion familiale.  

À tous les parents, aux familles de toutes nos régions, religions et cultures: votre responsabilité est immense, votre rôle unique. Soyez les gardiens des valeurs de respect, de vérité, de travail et d’honneur.  

Soutenons ensemble le projet de transition pacifique et apaisée porté par le Président Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, un leader qui place la famille au cœur des politiques publiques, pour un Cameroun plus fort, plus uni et plus prospère.  

C’est le moment de construire un avenir où chaque enfant, chaque famille compte.

WHY I WILL VOTE FOR THE CANDIDATE, PRESIDENT BELLO BOUBA MAÏGARI  

Because the family is the vital foundation of Cameroon, a miniature state.  

Every citizen, every future builder of our nation is born into a family. It is the crucible where first values, respect for rules, discipline, solidarity, and responsibility are formed. Without this solid base, no state can prosper or guarantee social peace.  

As Ferdinand Buisson said:  

“The family is a miniature state, where the most fundamental lessons of social life are learned.”  

This truth enlightens our duty towards every Cameroonian household.  

Yet, we know not all families are united, disciplined, or attentive to these fundamentals. Some parents, out of fear or misplaced ambition, push their children to obtain fake diplomas, compromising their future and endangering the family, and ultimately, the entire nation. One father admits:  

“I paid to get my son’s diploma; I thought I was doing the right thing, but now I see he is lost.”  

Others ignore the signals of puberty and its consequences, such as early pregnancies that break lives and hinder the development of a promising youth. A mother testifies:  

“My daughter became pregnant at 14; the whole family suffers, and no one knows how to help.”  

These realities weaken the family unit and impair the state.  

It is essential to understand that effectively supporting families, especially those in poverty, is not only an act of solidarity but an investment in the state. Every supported, educated, and responsible child will become a valuable mind, a cornerstone of our economy, a nursery of tax contributors and social peace.  

The state must revise its family and economic policies, assist vulnerable families, build training, awareness, and support programs to fight fake diplomas and early pregnancies, and promote civic and moral education.  

Our nation can no longer afford to train young people only to see them leave and enrich other countries. Imagine if Europeans or Americans trained their children to come pay taxes in Africa… It would be a miracle. But today, brain drain is destroying our hopes. This scourge is also tied to our currency and how we manage our economy.  

As Nelson Mandela reminded us: “Education is the most powerful weapon to change the world.” If we want to change Cameroon, we have to start by changing how we raise and accompany our children within our families.  

The family is the first place of social, cultural, economic, and political learning. Our country’s success depends on every family’s ability to play its role as educator, protector, and model. That is why we must support it with the same energy used to build infrastructure: Cameroon’s future is forged in family stability and cohesion.  

To all parents and families of our regions, religions, and cultures: your responsibility is immense, your role unique. Be guardians of the values of respect, truth, work, and honor.  

Let us support together the project of a peaceful and calm transition led by President Bello Bouba Maïgari, a leader who places family at the heart of public policies, for a stronger, more united, and more prosperous Cameroon.  

Now is the time to build a future where every child, every family counts.

Qui a ou détient l'information, a ou détient le pouvoir.

Votons le Candidat, Président Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, pour une transition pacifique et apaisée.

Depuis l’époque du Code Noir, ce fantôme juridique jamais abrogé malgré l’abolition de l’esclavage, le Cameroun et l’Afrique subissent encore les chaînes invisibles de domination. Ce code, héritage d’un passé colonial cruel, légitimait la déshumanisation et l’exploitation.

Aujourd’hui, ce vestige du droit français symbolise la persistance d’un système néocolonial. Le franc CFA, verrou monétaire, et l’exploitation étrangère de nos ressources naturelles rappellent tristement que notre souveraineté est bafouée.

Pour que notre pays avance vraiment, il faut dépasser les rancunes, rejeter les chasses aux sorcières stériles, et engager un dialogue pacifique, apaisé et sincère, à la hauteur de notre histoire et de notre destin commun.

Certains pensent qu’il suffirait de changer de président pour que tout change. Mais tant que nous n’aurons pas compris ces racines profondes et dénoncé clairement ce système néocolonial, cette illusion perdurera.

Après une analyse approfondie et lucide, j’estime que le Président SE Papa Paul Biya, en raison de son âge, devrait désormais présider le Conseil d’éthique et des Sages, ouvrant la voie à un renouveau réfléchi et respectueux.

Le Président Bello Bouba Maïgari est le candidat idéal, le choix du peuple camerounais, pour guider cette transition pacifique de sept (07) ans, avec une feuille de route claire. Il a accompagné pendant quarante-trois ans le Renouveau — tout comme SE Paul Biya avait accompagné le Nouveau du feu Président Ahmadou B. AHIDJO avant d’accéder au pouvoir le 6 novembre 1982 — ce qui le place parfaitement pour conduire, avec de nouvelles ressources humaines, les correctifs nécessaires et assurer une continuité apaisée.

Cette transition s’appuiera sur:  

1. Un gouvernement d’union nationale, limité à 25 ministres, pour plus d’efficacité et de responsabilité;  

2. L’intégration de l’allemand comme troisième langue officielle du Cameroun, gage de diversité et d’ouverture;  

3. La création d’un État social fort avec allocation maternité, allocation jeunesse et allocation vieillesse, pour un véritable soutien citoyen;  

4. Une réforme territoriale innovante, avec 15 ou 16 régions aux noms et sièges adaptés (Littoral-Ouest, Extrême-Ouest, Extrême-Centre, Extrême-Sud, Extrême-Nord-Ouest, Centre-Ouest…), chacune dotée d’un Ministère d’État régional pour une véritable décentralisation et un développement équilibré.

Le modèle camerounais doit être à la fois original, digne et porteur d’espoir, s’inspirant des autres sans rien leur envier, incarnant une gouvernance moderne ancrée dans nos valeurs.

Ce Nouveau du Renouveau vise à restaurer efficacité, compétence, transparence et confiance, dans le respect de l’unité nationale et de la cohésion sociale.

Il est temps d’éclairer le peuple camerounais, ici et dans la diaspora, pour qu’il prenne en main son destin en connaissance de cause, loin des vieilles rancunes et divisions.

Ensemble, exigeons l’abrogation du Code Noir, qui hante encore nos lois, le remplacement du franc CFA par une monnaie africaine souveraine, et une véritable libération économique, matrices indispensables d’une indépendance réelle.

Construisons ensemble un Cameroun uni, juste et prospère, où règne un dialogue sincère, pacifique et constructif.

Que Dieu bénisse le Cameroun et l’Afrique!

Who has or holds the information, has or holds the power.

Let’s vote for the Candidate, President Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, for a peaceful and calm transition.

Since the time of the Code Noir, that legal ghost never repealed despite the abolition of slavery, Cameroon and Africa have continued to suffer invisible chains of domination. This code, a legacy of a cruel colonial past, legitimized dehumanization and exploitation.

Today, this remnant of French law symbolizes the persistence of a neocolonial system. The CFA franc, a monetary straitjacket, and the foreign exploitation of our natural resources sadly remind us that our sovereignty is still violated.

For our country to truly move forward, we must overcome grudges, reject endless witch hunts, and engage in peaceful, calm, and sincere dialogue worthy of our history and common destiny.

Some think that merely changing the president will change everything. But as long as we fail to understand these deep roots and openly denounce this neocolonial system, this illusion will persist.

After thorough and clear analysis, I believe that President His Excellency Papa Paul Biya, due to his age, should now chair the Council of Ethics and Elders, paving the way for a thoughtful and respectful renewal.

President Bello Bouba Maïgari is the ideal candidate, the choice of the Cameroonian people, to lead this peaceful seven (07) year transition, guided by a clear roadmap. He has accompanied the Renewal for forty-three years — just as His Excellency Paul Biya accompanied the late President Ahmadou B. AHIDJO before coming to power on November 6, 1982 — positioning him perfectly to lead, with new human resources, the necessary corrections and ensure peaceful continuity.

This transition will be based on:  

1. A national unity government limited to 25 ministers, for greater effectiveness and accountability;  

2. The integration of German as the third official language of Cameroon, a symbol of diversity and openness;  

3. The creation of a strong social state with maternity benefits, youth allowance, and old-age pension, for genuine citizen support;  

4. An innovative territorial reform with 15 or 16 regions named and seated appropriately (Littoral-West, Extreme-West, Extreme-Center, Extreme-South, Extreme-North-West, Center-West…), each with a Regional Minister of State to ensure true decentralization and balanced development.

The Cameroonian model must be original, dignified, and hopeful — inspired by others but envying none — reflecting modern governance rooted in our values.

This New Renewal aims to restore effectiveness, competence, transparency, and trust while respecting national unity and social cohesion.

It is time to enlighten the Cameroonian people, here and in the diaspora, to take charge of their destiny with full knowledge, beyond past grudges and divisions.

Together, let us demand the repeal of the Code Noir that still haunts our laws, the replacement of the CFA franc by a sovereign African currency, and genuine economic liberation — essential foundations for true independence.

Let us build together a united, just, and prosperous Cameroon, where sincere, peaceful, and constructive dialogue prevails.

PROJET DE COMMÉMORATION DU DÉCÈS DU FEU PRESIDENT PAPA AHMADOU B. AHIDJO (30 NOVEMBRE 1989 – 30 NOVEMBRE 2025)

Chers compatriotes, Messieurs, Mesdames,

Il n’y a pas de mots pour dénoncer ce délire présidentiel qui va à l’encontre de toute sainteté d’Esprit.

ALERTE NATIONALE : L'HISTOIRE NOUS REGARDE.

La décision du Président Paul Biya d’organiser les élections régionales le 30 novembre 2025, jour du 36e anniversaire du décès de feu Ahmadou B. Ahidjo, n’est pas un simple calendrier électoral. C’est un acte lourd de symboles, un défi à l’héritage historique et spirituel que nous, Camerounais, chérissons.

Ahmadou B. Ahidjo, premier Président de notre République, a légué non seulement un pays, mais un pouvoir conféré par la volonté divine, un don sacré transmis à Paul Biya. Choisir cette date tragique pour ces élections, c’est faire fi de cette tradition sacrée, c’est aussi signer la fin d’un régime qui s’accroche à un système dépassé.

Le pouvoir, comme la vie et la mort, vient de Dieu. Personne ne peut s’en arroger la maîtrise sans en subir les conséquences. Cette provocation exprime non seulement un mépris envers le peuple camerounais, déjà fatigué par les mauvaises décisions, mais aussi une insulte à la mémoire de celui qui a symboliquement remis ce pouvoir.

Ce message ne vise aucun parti en particulier, mais interpelle la conscience de chaque électeur et électrice, toutes tendances confondues. Il est temps de tourner la page. Il faut refuser la perpétuation d’un système qui a montré ses limites.

Nous sommes à un tournant. Accepter cette situation, c’est accepter que notre pays continue de souffrir. Le refuser, c’est se lever pour une transition pacifique et ouvrir la voie au Nouveau du Renouveau, incarné par l’homme providentiel, le Président Bello Bouba Maïgari.

Le 12 octobre 2025, le peuple souverain aura le dernier mot. Préparons-nous à voter pour l’avenir, pour la justice, pour le respect de notre histoire et de nos valeurs. 

Le Cameroun mérite mieux. Le Cameroun mérité un avenir.

Votons pour le vrai changement, pour notre dignité!

PROJECT TO COMMEMORATE THE DEATH OF THE LATE PRESIDENT PAPA AHMADOU B. AHIDJO (NOVEMBER 30, 1989 – NOVEMBER 30, 2025)

Dear compatriots, ladies and gentlemen,

There are no words to denounce this presidential madness that goes against all sanctity of Spirit.

NATIONAL ALERT: HISTORY IS WATCHING US.

President Paul Biya’s decision to hold the regional elections on November 30, 2025, the 36th anniversary of the death of the late Ahmadou B. Ahidjo, is not a mere electoral calendar. It is a gesture heavy with symbolism, a challenge to the historical and spiritual heritage that we, Cameroonians, cherish.

Ahmadou B. Ahidjo, the first President of our Republic, bequeathed not only a country but power conferred by divine will, a sacred gift passed on to Paul Biya. Choosing this tragic date for the elections disregards this sacred tradition and also signals the end of a regime clinging to an outdated system.

Power, like life and death, comes from God. No one can arrogate control over it without facing consequences. This provocation expresses not only contempt for the Cameroonian people, already weary of bad decisions, but also an insult to the memory of the one who symbolically handed over this power.

This message is not aimed at any particular political party but calls on the conscience of every voter, no matter their affiliation. It is time to turn the page. We must reject the perpetuation of a system that has shown its limits.

We stand at a crossroads. Accepting this situation means accepting that our country continues to suffer. Rejecting it means rising for a peaceful transition and opening the way for the New Renewal, embodied by the providential man, President Bello Bouba Maïgari.

On October 12, 2025, the sovereign people will have the final say. Let us prepare to vote for the future, for justice, and for respect for our history and values.

Cameroon deserves better. Cameroon deserves a future.

Let us vote for real change, for our dignity!

*LE PRÉSIDENT BELLO BOUBA MAÏGARI, L’HOMME PROVIDENTIEL, L’HOMME DU NOUVEAU DU RENOUVEAU, L’ALTERNANCE DÉMOCRATIQUE APAISÉE.*

Mesdames, Messieurs, honorables autorités, chers compatriotes,  

Je m’adresse à vous, piliers du Cameroun: Présidents du Sénat, de l’Assemblée nationale, leaders politiques, candidats à la présidentielle du 12 octobre 2025, société civile, ainsi qu’à chaque citoyen porteur de sa carte électorale.

Notre pays, riche de son histoire et de ses traditions, traverse un tournant majeur. Depuis plus de quarante ans, il souffre de retards, de promesses non tenues et d’opportunités manquées. Nos merveilleuses ressources, comme l’or de Betara Oya estimé à plus de 130 billions de francs CFA, restent sous-exploitées. La dette publique, qui dépasse les 14 billions, menace gravement notre souveraineté économique et nous invite urgemment à un Plan Marshall Camerounais(PMC).

Je vous parle avec foi: tout pouvoir vient de Dieu. En 1982, dans un acte de grande sagesse, le feu Président Ahidjo remit le pouvoir pacifiquement au Président Paul Biya et au Premier ministre Bello Bouba Maïgari. Cette transition incarnait un équilibre respectueux de nos traditions, un modèle Fô & Kuete symbolisant la complémentarité dans l’exercice du pouvoir.

L’UNDP, parti qui a déjà été majoritaire à l’Assemblée nationale, et son leader, le Président Bello Bouba Maïgari, sont des symboles d’écoute, d’engagement loyal et persévérant depuis plus de quarante ans. En répondant à ce processus électoral, il incarne l’appel prophétique du Président de la République à faire du pouvoir la volonté souveraine du peuple camerounais.

Cependant, ce système a atteint ses limites: le peuple ressent chaque jour un poids croissant, une gouvernance qui peine à relever nos défis. Les signes, les chiffres et la tradition nous disent que l’heure est venue d’un changement consensuel et apaisé, adapté à notre démocratie unique où autorités modernes et chefs traditionnels cohabitent.

À vous, intellectuels et citoyens de tous horizons, je lance cet appel: ce changement n’est pas une rupture brutale, mais un pacte social renouvelé, un vote utile pour libérer notre peuple, rapprocher les cœurs et bâtir l’avenir. Comme le rappelait Nelson Mandela: « Le courage n’est pas l’absence de peur, mais la victoire sur celle-ci. »  

Nous avons une occasion historique de bâtir un Cameroun où la jeunesse aura accès à l’emploi, où l’éducation sera renforcée, et où nos richesses profiteront à tous. Cet avenir s’appelle discipline, transparence, fraternité et amour du pays.

Je vous laisse avec les sages mots de Mongo Beti: « Le vrai changement, ce n’est pas l’horizon lointain, c’est le pas que l’on fait aujourd’hui. »  

Marchons unis, avec sagesse et espoir, vers ce Nouveau Renouveau.

WHY THIS CHOICE OF THE CAMEROONIAN PEOPLE, NOT AN OSTENTATIOUS CHOICE, BUT A CHOICE OF DIVINE GIFT:  

*PRESIDENT BELLO BOUBA MAÏGARI, THE PROVIDENTIAL MAN, THE MAN OF THE NEW RENEWAL, THE PEACEFUL DEMOCRATIC ALTERNATION.*

Ladies and Gentlemen, honorable authorities, dear compatriots,  

I address you, the pillars of Cameroon: Presidents of the Senate and National Assembly, political leaders, candidates for the October 12, 2025 presidential election, civil society, and every citizen holding an electoral card.

Our country, rich in history and traditions, is at a crucial turning point. For over forty years, it has suffered delays, broken promises, and missed opportunities. Our wonderful resources, such as the gold at Betara Oya valued at over 130 trillion CFA francs, remain underexploited. Public debt, exceeding 14 trillion CFA francs, seriously threatens our economic sovereignty and urgently calls for a Cameroonian Marshall Plan (PMC).

I speak to you with faith: all power comes from God. In 1982, in an act of great wisdom, the late President Ahidjo peacefully handed over power to President Paul Biya and Prime Minister Bello Bouba Maïgari. This transition embodied a respectful balance of our traditions, a Fô & Kuete model symbolizing the necessary complementarity in exercising power.

The UNDP, a party that has already been the majority in the National Assembly, and its leader, President Bello Bouba Maïgari, are symbols of attentive, loyal, and persevering commitment for over forty years. By participating in this electoral process, he answers the prophetic call of the President of the Republic to make executive power the sovereign will of the Cameroonian people.

However, this system has reached its limits: the people feel, day by day, the growing weight of governance that struggles to meet our challenges. Signs, numbers, and tradition tell us that the time has come for a consensual and peaceful change, suited to our unique democracy where modern authorities and traditional chiefs coexist.

To you, intellectuals and citizens of all horizons, I launch this call: this change is not a brutal rupture but a renewed social pact, a useful vote to free our people, bring hearts closer, and build the future. As Nelson Mandela reminded us: “Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.”  

We have a historic opportunity to build a Cameroon where youth will have access to employment, education will be strengthened, and our wealth will benefit all. This future is built on discipline, transparency, brotherhood, and love for the country.

I leave you with the wise words of Mongo Beti: “True change is not the distant horizon, it is the step we take today.”  

Let us walk united, with wisdom and hope, toward this New Renewal.

Focus sur la création d’emplois, le développement des infrastructures et le soutien aux PME au Cameroun  

Sous le leadership résolu du Président Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, le Cameroun met en œuvre une stratégie ambitieuse pour stimuler la création d’emplois durables, moderniser ses infrastructures clés et dynamiser le tissu des Petites et Moyennes Entreprises (PME), véritables moteurs de la croissance économique nationale.  

Avec la création de l'Agence d'Emploi pour la Prospection et le Placement (AEPP), Observatoire des emplois de cadres, et la future Agence d'Emplois pour la Formation Professionnelle (AEFP), le pays renforce les capacités techniques de ses jeunes. 

Cette Agence garantira une formation professionnelle certifiée, en partenariat avec le Ministère de la Formation Professionnelle et la Chambre de l'Industrie du Cameroun, pour garantir un vrai professionnalisme et lutter contre les techniciens non qualifiés.

*1. Priorités sectorielles sur 5 ans*  

- Agriculture & Agro-industrie: Modernisation des filières cacao, café, maïs et transformation agroalimentaire, générant des milliers d’emplois ruraux.  

- TIC: Développement du digital, e-commerce et cybersécurité, favorisant l’emploi des jeunes et l’économie numérique.  

- Bâtiments et Travaux Publics (BTP): Grands projets d’infrastructures pour stimuler la croissance et l’emploi.  

- Énergies renouvelables: Projets solaires, hydrauliques et biomasse pour la transition énergétique et emplois verts.  

- Santé: Renforcement des structures hospitalières et emplois qualifiés.  

- Tourisme et Hôtellerie: Valorisation de l’écotourisme et des opportunités locales.  

- Finance & Banque: Soutien à l’inclusion économique et à l’emploi dans les services financiers.  

- Économie verte: Activités durables comme recyclage, agriculture biologique et gestion forestière.

- Microfinance et coopératives rurales pour inclusion économique.  

*4. Objectifs nationaux*  

- Créer des emplois décents, durables et réduire pauvreté et inégalités.  

- Construire une économie diversifiée, résiliente et compétitive.  

- Offrir à la jeunesse des perspectives solides dans secteurs innovants et traditionnels.  

Le Gouvernement appelle à la mobilisation collective de tous les acteurs pour faire de cette vision une réalité, garantissant prospérité et bien-être pour tous. 

« Le Gouvernement camerounais s'engage à renégocier les termes de la parité monétaire afin de consolider une monnaie nationale forte apportant une réelle valeur ajoutée, freinant la fuite des cerveaux et positionnant le Cameroun au même niveau que ses partenaires internationaux, avec comme ambition finale: 1 Fcfa = 1 € ».

Focus on job creation, infrastructure development, and support for SMEs in Cameroon  

Under the firm leadership of President Bello Bouba MAÏGARI, Cameroon is implementing an ambitious strategy to stimulate sustainable job creation, modernize key infrastructures, and strengthen Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), true engines of national economic growth.  

With the establishment of the Employment Agency for Prospecting and Placement (AEPP), the Observatory of Executive Jobs, and the forthcoming Employment Agency for Professional Training (AEFP), the country is enhancing the technical skills of its youth. This Agency will ensure certified professional training, in partnership with the Ministry of Professional Training and the Cameroon Chamber of Industry, aiming to guarantee real professionalism and combat unqualified technicians.  

*1. Sectoral priorities for the next 5 years*  

- Agriculture & Agro-industry: Modernizing cocoa, coffee, maize sectors and agro-food processing, creating thousands of rural jobs.
