NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE TO A VALIANT HEART No. 00049/29-08/RDPF-KUMZSE/ADN-2025.

INNOVATIVE AGRICULTURE, TRAINING, AND TECHNOLOGY.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE, THE CHOICE OF THE CAMEROONIAN PEOPLE FOR THE OCTOBER 12, 2025 ELECTION, PRESIDENT BELLO BOUBA MAÏGARI, THE MAN OF CONTINUITY AND NEW OF THE RENEWAL.

The future of agriculture in Cameroon rests on a comprehensive strategy that pools human, financial, and natural resources. Each region must leverage its specific strengths, as soil, climate, and fertility vary throughout the country. Optimizing production sites based on these factors—humid zones dedicated to suitable crops and drier regions to other types of cultivation—ensures efficiency and sustainability.

Sustainable development also depends on fully utilizing the research conducted by the Institute of Agricultural Research for Development (IRAD) to adapt farming techniques to local realities and improve productivity.

Integrating innovative technologies such as drones, robotics, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things allows precise monitoring and management of crops, optimized irrigation and fertilization, while anticipating climatic challenges.

Strengthening the skills of our agronomy engineers, particularly at the Faculty of Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences (FASA), through new specialized modules in AgriTech, agro-industry, and agricultural value chain management, is essential to lead this transformation.

To ensure better preservation of harvests and reduce post-harvest losses, building large regional granaries is a priority. These infrastructures will also facilitate agro-industrial and agro-food processing, thereby adding value to our agricultural products.

This strategy will further open international markets, especially by better leveraging agreements such as the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA), giving Cameroonian producers improved competitiveness and export opportunities.

Pooling resources among farmers, cooperatives, financial institutions, and technological partners is vital to create an efficient agricultural ecosystem that generates jobs, respects the environment, and guarantees lasting food security.

This vision is fully incorporated into President Bello Bouba MAÏGARI’s program, committed to making Cameroon a leader in innovative, sustainable, and inclusive agriculture, serving all its citizens.

Fraternally,

Dr. NDEMMANU Antoine De Padoue, Ph.D. in Social Economics
