SE Paul Biya, choisi par le feu SE Ahmadou Ahidjo, a assuré la continuité de l’État et déployé la vision des plans quinquennaux à tous les niveaux. Architecte de nombreuses grandes politiques, il a su traverser plusieurs crises majeures, maintenant la stabilité institutionnelle à travers plus de 300 nominations dans l’administration et en garantissant la souveraineté nationale, même si plusieurs candidats actuels sont aussi issus de cet héritage politique.

Cependant, après 43 ans au pouvoir, on constate que la mutualisation des ressources humaines, financières et naturelles, le développement de l’agro-industrie, la protection sociale et le projet de monnaie nationale n’ont pas encore abouti à la transformation attendue: pauvreté persistante, jeunesse en quête d’opportunités, fuite des cerveaux, manque d’industrialisation et gouvernance centralisée.  

D’où la nécessité de s’interroger sur la pertinence de poursuivre ce modèle et sur l’ouverture d’un nouveau cycle politique.

Axes à proposer

Prioriser l’emploi des jeunes et la rétention des talents, via des politiques innovantes et inclusives. 

Par exemple, en augmentant le prix de la bière de 650 FCFA à 1000 FCFA (350 FCFA de plus par bouteille sur 20 millions vendues chaque jour), on générerait environ 2 520 milliards FCFA par an, de quoi financer la retraite, l’allocation maternité et l’assurance chômage des jeunes. 

À cela s’ajoutent les recettes minières, qui pourraient servir à construire des infrastructures modernes (routes, rails, ports, aéroports) et promouvoir une gouvernance véritablement inclusive et tournée vers l’avenir..🇨🇲✨

OUR CITIZEN CALL FOR A PARTICIPATORY AND PEACEFUL DEMOCRACY – OCTOBER 12, 2025 –

Citizen Appeal to the 70 Unsuccessful Candidates

Dear compatriots, brothers and sisters in civic engagement,

The Electoral Council has delivered its verdict: thirteen among us will bear the voice of all presidential candidates, but seventy of us remain carriers of ideas, projects, and above all, a precious civic energy for the future of Cameroon.

I solemnly call on each of these seventy comrades to come together in November 2025 to jointly prepare for the double legislative and municipal elections of 2026. 

This is not a defeat, but a unique opportunity to pool our strengths, share our experiences, and build a genuine citizen dynamic for our communities.

It is also time to open our eyes to the indecency of certain dangerous messages circulating on social networks: it is irresponsible to expose our youth to violence, to send the children of others to confront institutions, while those who call for disobedience protect themselves far from danger. The construction of change cannot be decreed through hatred or exclusion, but through listening, respect, and united action.

In November 2025, let us come together for a great citizen gathering, far from division and manipulation, to peacefully and hopefully prepare a new democratic era for all!

It is together – for our children, our families, and our country – that we must build the future.

Long live participatory and peaceful democracy! Long live a united Cameroon!🇨🇲✨

NOTRE APPEL CITOYEN POUR UNE DÉMOCRATIE PARTICIPATIVE ET APAISÉE - 12 OCTOBRE 2025 -

APPEL CITOYEN AUX 70 CANDIDATS NON RETENUS

Chers compatriotes, frères et sœurs de l’engagement citoyen,

Le Conseil Electoral a rendu son verdict: treize d’entre nous porteront la voix de tous les candidats à l’élection présidentielle, mais soixante-dix d’entre nous restent porteurs d’idées, de projets, et surtout d’une Energie citoyenne précieuse pour l’avenir du Cameroun.

J’appelle solennellement chacun des soixante-dix camarades à se rassembler en novembre 2025, afin de préparer ensemble le double scrutin législatif et municipal de 2026. Il ne s’agit pas d’une défaite, mais au contraire d’une occasion unique de mutualiser nos forces, nos expériences, et de bâtir une dynamique citoyenne véritable pour nos territoires.

Il est temps aussi d’ouvrir les yeux sur l’indécence de certains discours dangereux diffusés sur les réseaux sociaux: il est irresponsable d’exposer la jeunesse à la violence, d’envoyer les enfants des autres affronter les institutions, pendant que ceux qui appellent à la désobéissance se protègent loin du danger. La construction du changement ne se décrète pas dans la haine ou l’exclusion, mais dans l’écoute, le respect, et l’action solidaire.

En novembre 2025, retrouvons-nous pour un grand rassemblement citoyen, loin des divisions et des manipulations, afin de préparer ensemble une alternance démocratique apaisée et porteuse d’espoir pour tous!

C’est ensemble – pour nos enfants, nos familles et notre pays – que nous devons construire l’avenir.

H.E. Paul Biya, chosen by the late H.E. Ahmadou Ahidjo, ensured state continuity and implemented the vision of five-year development plans at all levels. As the architect of major policies, he has led the country through several crises, maintaining institutional stability with over 300 appointments in the administration and guaranteeing national sovereignty—even though many current candidates also come from this political legacy.

However, after 43 years in power, the pooling of human, financial, and natural resources, the development of agro-industry, social protection, and the project of a national currency have not yet brought about the expected transformation: persistent poverty, youth seeking opportunities, brain drain, lack of industrialization, and centralized governance.  

This raises the need to question the relevance of continuing with this model and to consider opening a new political cycle.

Proposed Axes

Prioritizing youth employment and retaining talent through innovative and inclusive policies.

For example, increasing the price of beer from 650 FCFA to 1,000 FCFA (an extra 350 FCFA per bottle on 20 million bottles a day) would generate about 2,520 billion FCFA annually—enough to fund pensions, maternity allowances, and youth unemployment benefits. 

Added to this are mining revenues, which could fund the construction of modern infrastructure (roads, railways, ports, airports) and foster truly inclusive, forward-looking governance.🇨🇲✨
